Susan Lueck

Susan began oil painting when only 10 years old. Her life long love for the oil paints ad Impressionism is captured in her work. She lived in Indiana much of her life moving to North Carolina in 2005 where she enjoys both her mountain studio and flowers.. These are often part of her paintings. "Flowers evoke great joy to me and stimulate my creative talents," Susan says.

 

Ida O'Connell

A world traveler, now retired and living in Black Mountain, NC. Ida specializes is oils.  "There is much to learn, but experimentation leading to success or failure is an exciting and continuous process."

 

Lynn Newhouse

Painting in oils, she specializes in portraiture, still life and landscapes. “I am constantly learning everyday to see my subjects better and to appreciate the beauty of God’s creation.” Artists whom she admires are John Singer Sargent, Richard Schmid, and Everett Raymond Kinstler.

 

Ann Whisenant

Her paintings are clean, crisp and softer in tone. Her works range from large geometric abstracts to simple more realistic landscapes.
